$0.00

Nestled in the heart of Quebec City's historic Place Royale, the unique Géomania boutique offers visitors a captivating journey into the world of minerals and precious stones.

Housed in the historic Maison Lambert Dumont, a stone building dating back to the late 17th century, Géomania seamlessly blends the rich history of its location with the natural beauty of its offerings. The store boasts an impressive collection of precious and semi-precious stones, including rubies, sapphires, emeralds, pearls, and a variety of other gemstones from both Quebec and abroad.

One of its highlights is its selection of ammolite, a rare Canadian gemstone found exclusively in Alberta. Beyond gemstones, Géomania also features giant crystals, meteorites, and fossils hundreds of millions of years old, attracting both collectors and casual visitors.

Adding to its charm, Géomania houses the Jade Museum in the vaults of the 18th-century building. This museum offers an in-depth look at jade, showcasing its history, significance, and the artistry involved in crafting jade pieces. Visitors can explore intricate carvings and discover the cultural significance of this esteemed stone.

The building itself, the Maison Lambert Dumont, adds a layer of historical significance to the experience. Lambert Dumont was a merchant who died at sea in 1691, but his house has made him an enduring part of Quebec history.
